Crochet patterns I want to make myself
Hi, I'm Elin! I picked up a crochet hook in 2020 and haven't put it down since. I'm Swedish, and these days I live full time in a van with my husband, designing crochet patterns along the way.
I write my patterns in English (US terms) and Swedish, step by step and with plenty of photos so they are easy to follow. The aim is simple: patterns for things I actually want to make and wear myself.
Why I do this
Crocheting is the calm part of my day. It has built both my confidence and my creativity, and it is the thing I genuinely make time for.
What I love is that you start with a ball of yarn and end up with something you can use, wear or give to someone you care about. There is something about being able to say I made this myself.
That is what I want my patterns to do for you. I design modern pieces I would want in my own wardrobe, alongside smaller projects that make good gifts.

The office is a van
I live and travel full time in a van, so the office is wherever we happen to park that day. Some days I crochet by the sea, some days in a small Spanish town, some days inside the van with a coffee next to me.
Travelling, crocheting and being outdoors are the three things I like most, and it still feels slightly unreal that I get to combine all three day to day. The places we end up in work their way into the patterns on their own.
How I write my patterns
Every design is crocheted by me before the pattern goes live. Then I write it, and rewrite it, until it reads clearly and you never have to guess what comes next.
Each pattern gives you step-by-step instructions, photos, yarn requirements, a recommended hook size and a list of the stitches used.
Every pattern comes in both English (US terms) and Swedish, each as its own PDF. The language follows the site you are browsing: on the English site you get the English PDF, on the Swedish site the Swedish one. The download is yours as soon as the payment goes through.
